6 Steps to Organizing a Keyboarding Competition

Christine Mueller, an Instructional Technology Trainer for Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS), recently wrote an article for edCircuit to share how she spearheaded the first-ever “Key Bee,” a district-wide keyboarding competition. Throughout the school year, students use Typing.com to learn proper finger placements and techniques, and with practice they work to increase speed and accuracy. The Key Bee competition culminated in a knockout-style championship where the students tested their skills against each other using our one-minute typing test.
