Stay tuned ―District Support Tools are coming soon!

Schools and districts using Typing.com in multiple locations will now have the opportunity to set up a district-wide account, connecting all schools and classrooms and giving administrators access to progress reporting across all schools in a district.

Perhaps best of all, all features of Typing.com will continue to be free, including all district and educator support! Here are some details on the new district support tools.

New Administrator Role

In addition to the teacher roles, a new administrator role will be available. Administrators can send instant invites to add new educators to the school account, assign roles, and manage the other educators in the school or district.

Add Multiple Teachers to a Class

You asked and we listened! Due to popular demand, you are now able to add multiple teachers to your classes – enabling co-teachers, specialists and other educators to support the same group of students and track and assess student progress.

Custom Lesson Creation for Administrators

You may already be using the custom lesson creation tool, providing cross-curricular learning by enabling teachers to generate original content for students to type, integrating keyboarding lessons with any relevant content for your students. This feature is now available to administrators, who can create custom lessons and distribute to all teachers in the school.

Stay tuned for more new features to come! If you’re having trouble accessing any features or want insights on how to make the most of Typing.com, we want to hear from you. Please contact our support team and we’ll help you get up to speed.
