Games encourage children\u2014and adults\u2014to engage in whatever the topic is. While all games could be used in a classroom, educational games are designed to help you learn a new skill along the way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are three keys to a great typing game:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Customization<\/b>. A game that offers adjustments to accommodate the different paces that people learn ensures the learner can progress while staying challenged.<\/span><\/li>\n

  3. Motivation<\/b>. Games offer the thrill of a challenge that motivates students to stay engaged in learning something new.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The games that interest a 3rd grader and ones that interest 6th graders can vary drastically\u2014even the skill level across one classroom can be very different. As a teacher, you need to provide options for every student.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
